We are currently looking for part-time sales interns to work alongside our dynamic and accomplished sales team. The internship will focus on learning: * The creation and execution of effective sales outreach programs * How to research prospective clients for sales outreach * Building and maintaining relationships with clients and partners This is a fully remote internship but it is crucial that candidates are located in one of the following regions of Upstate New York: Albany, Saratoga, Glens Falls, Lake George, and/or the Adirondacks. Duties may include any or all of the following: * Contribute to house account maintenance to build and maintain relationships * Collaborate with the sales team to create and execute targeted outreach campaigns * Conduct research to find solid prospects * Cold call to assist in setting up meetings * Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and proposals * Participate in sales meetings and training sessions * Channel your organizational skills to help the team with a variety of tasks * Work with clients to gather information such as: dinner specials, event dates, etc.. * Provide administrative support to the sales team Ideal Candidates: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills * Ability to work independently and in a team * Goal-oriented and results-driven * Highly motivated and eager to learn * Positive attitude and ability to handle rejection * Good time management and organizational skills * You’re comfortable with cold calling and making sales pitches * You’re a college freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, or grad student * You have strong regional knowledge of the Capital/Saratoga Region and/or the Adirondacks
