100% Onsite Job Description - This posting is for Manufacturing Engineers to help build and ramp a new production line for manufacturing a premier medical device.
- Responsibilities will include input into line layout via LEAN principles, support of initial operations planning and execution of equipment and process validations.
- Candidates are expected to exercise their technical knowledge to support achievement of business objectives through launch of the product, volume ramp and yield improvement, which will require setting direction, leading, and taking ownership of complex manufacturing engineering technical tasks with multiple inter-coordinating elements.
- It is expected that the individual will be able to both anticipate and identify key issues, understand impact and make recommendations for resolution which remain compliant with Quality System requirements.
- Interaction with peers and mentors is essential and will involve peer review and manager review to confirm rationale for the approach remains appropriate as well as review of verification/validation activities.
- Additionally, successful interaction with line operators will also be essential to success.
- The individual will typically have had 2-5 years experience in an engineering discipline or advanced education to achieve the level of skill.
- Bachelor Science or Bachelor Engineering in Electrical, Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering or similar is desired.
- Curriculum training will be provided to ensure understanding of Quality System requirements required to perform assignments.
