What To Expect
North America Business Planning provides the critical thinking, insights, plans, and cross functional alignment required for Tesla to continue to aggressively scale and operate with optimal efficiency. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with strong day-to-day operations and build capabilities to power hyper-growth. In this role, you will directly support Tesla’s customer facing expansion plans and measure the performance of this portfolio. You will work directly with Service, Sales, Delivery, Collision and Customer Support leaders to create and implement market growth strategies and operations improvements. Your analyses and creative thinking will guide where we go next.
What You'll Do Combine quantitative and qualitative analyses to explain factors driving customer demand and utilize this information to forecast capacity needs within Tesla’s customer facing portfolio of locations and teamsTrack and measure the performance of existing locations and teams and partner with operations leaders to identify improvement opportunitiesAnalyze field feedback on operations systems and provide insights to the business and IT teams which highlight potential for enhancements which will improve efficiencyBuild business cases and analyses with Program Managers to support process improvement initiatives they are drivingCreate high-quality analyses and summaries for engagement with executive leadership
What You'll Bring Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, or Data Analytics or equivalent experienceSignificant experience in data analytics, scenario planning, predictive modelingExpert in data processing, including analysis of big data using Excel and SQL; experience using VBA, Python, or R is idealExperience building data visualizations using Tableau Desktop or similarExperience collaborating with a wide variety of stakeholdersSelf-starter who can lead, manage, and prioritize multiple projects and workstreams in a fast-paced environmentMust be available to work from the Palo Alto, CA office regularly

Expected Compensation
$80,000 - $150,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
