Job Summary

The primary duty of this position is support for data analytics and strategic sourcing initiatives in collaboration with the department.

Responsibilities:

• Contributes to the achievement of defined performance targets and participates in competitive RFPs as necessary.
• Provide support in strategic sourcing events (RFI, RFP) using e-tools and Excel based analytics.
• Prepares & develops all required documentation including content, bid sheet, in-depth analysis of price proposals and project briefs.
• Coordinate with buyers and extended cross-functional teams on sourcing requirements, establishing baseline (annual spend, volumes, etc.) and identifying potential suppliers.
• Supports the execution of the 7-step strategic sourcing process including category deep-dives, category strategy development, and sourcing approach identification.
• Support the development and reporting of departmental key performance indicators.
• Completes data entry into contract database within company data management tool.
• Drives completion of multiple projects and reporting needs simultaneously, collaborating with respective business units
• Provides input, support, and execution on initiatives for continuous improvement within the department (SOP’s, reference documents, visual aids, database creation, etc.)
• Communicates proactively and effectively with all stakeholders to foster relationships across varied functions.
• Knowledgeable on the strategic sourcing process, drafting of contracts, financial reviews, and procurement practices.
• Performs data/spend analysis to identify value/savings opportunities across spend and report in digestible format.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in supply chain (distribution, category), finance, business administration, food & beverage, or grocery retail
• Effective written & verbal communication skills
• Project Management skills / experience
