Production Manager | Delta Township, MI

Salary Range: $85,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Manage, train, and develop production staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations.
• Implement and monitor production schedules to meet output targets and customer demand.
• Optimize manufacturing processes for continuous improvement, cost reduction, and waste elimination.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
• Monitor production budgets, control costs, and manage resource allocation effectively.
• Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues and streamline workflows.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on motivation and development.
• In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and production planning.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Demonstrated proficiency with advanced ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Experience with the implementation or management of automation and Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience managing complex projects.
