UB Associates is looking for a detail-oriented  Prior Authorization Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll help patients receive the care they need by securing prior authorizations for procedures, testing, imaging, medications, and admissions. If you enjoy working with people, staying organized, and ensuring accuracy in a fast-paced healthcare environment, this position offers the chance to grow your expertise while directly supporting patient care.

What You’ll Do:

  • Verify patient eligibility and obtain required prior authorizations for medications, imaging, procedures, and admissions.
  • Coordinate financial assistance with facilities or service locations when applicable.
  • Track prior authorizations to align with surgical scheduling and prevent expirations.
  • Manage incoming documentation and support completion of necessary forms.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and confidentiality standards.
  • Perform additional administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.
