Job Description Ready to make a real impact in your community? We’re looking for dedicated and safety-focused Lifeguards to join our team at Casey Leisure Facilities. If you’re passionate about water safety and enjoy working in a team that values professionalism and service, we want to hear from you! As a Lifeguard, you’ll be responsible for supervising the aquatic environment to ensure the safety and positive experience of all customers and staff. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high safety standards, monitoring water quality, and responding proactively to potential risks. This is more than just a poolside role, it’s about leading by example, being alert, and creating a welcoming space for the community to enjoy. Key Responsibilities ~Be alert and ready to respond before issues even arise ~Keep the water sparkling and the vibe upbeat ~Provide clear, friendly guidance to help everyone enjoy the pool safely ~Work closely with the Duty Captain to maintain the highest standards You’ll take pride in keeping one of our community’s favourite spots in tip-top shape... from perfect water quality to positive, welcoming energy. Desired Skills and Experience ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:   1.    Previous experience in customer service (preferred) 2.    The position will be subject to relevant pre-employment checks such as a Police Check and must maintain a current working with children check 3.    The successful applicant must hold or be willing to attain Pool Lifeguard, first aid and CPR qualifications PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: 1.    Focused on the customer 2.    Understands/enjoys the Leisure Industry and motivated to serve Aligned Leisure 3.    High level of awareness to pre-empt issues and risks 4.    Disciplined to focus on aquatic supervision and customer safety 5.    Relentless in their approach to delivering exceptional service 6.    Engaging and outgoing 7.    Conflict resolution skills 8.    Decision making skills 9.    High level communication and consultation skills We’re committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace and strongly encourage applicants from all backgrounds to apply.
