Job Description

Salary: $89,600 - 185,000 per year Requirements:

  • I have 3+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting data using Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, or similar technologies.
  • I am skilled in data visualization with tools such as Tableau, Quicksight, or similar platforms.
  • I possess experience with data modeling, warehousing, and the construction of ETL pipelines.
  • I am familiar with statistical analysis tools such as R, SAS, and Matlab.
  • I have the ability to use SQL effectively to extract data from databases or data warehouses and have scripting experience (preferably Python) for processing data for modeling.
Responsibilities:
  • I will design, implement, and maintain a platform that provides ad hoc access to extensive datasets.
  • I will mine and manipulate data from database tables (e.g., Redshift, MySQL, Oracle) using SQL and ETL techniques.
  • I will analyze log files through scripting (e.g., PERL, Python, UNIX).
  • I will develop analytical tools, including deep-dive tools, user interfaces, metrics, and dashboards.
  • I will conduct thorough investigations and root cause analyses to address business inquiries.
  • I will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define the sources of truth and ensure high data fidelity.
  • I will communicate solutions and methodologies effectively to senior leadership, both in writing and verbally.
  • I will work alongside engineering teams to facilitate the appropriate capture and storage of data.
  • I will manage ad hoc data retrieval and analysis, monitor existing metrics, propose new metrics, and identify actionable risk signals.
