The Assistant Operations Manager - F&B/Rooms will provide support and oversight for the operational departments within the hotel. Responsibilities for this role will focus on supporting hotel operations: Outlets (3-meal restaurant, bar, and market), Banquets, Front Office, and Housekeeping. The Assistant Operations Manager - F&B/Rooms would be responsible for overall guest satisfaction, colleague training & development, and scheduling. Other responsibilities will include running the shift in the department head's absence, acting as the Manager on Duty as needed, and reporting to the F&B and Rooms Department Heads.

From the moment you enter the Hyatt Regency Houston- Baytown hotel, you will sense a wonderful mix of modern meets warm southern Texas hospitality and bay breezes. The hotel features 208 guest rooms, a market, a 3-meal restaurant with an exhibition kitchen, and a lobby bar with great views of the Houston ship channel. Qualifications - Minimum of1 +years as F&B/ROOMS Management preferred, or completion of Corporate Management Training Program equivalent
- Experience with Hotel/Restaurant Operating Systems, such as Micros, HotSOS, Opera, Tock, Infrasys, Digital Dining, Etc.
- Ideal applicant should have strong organizationaland communicationskills
- The ability to work a flexible work schedule, including opening, closing, nights, weekends, and holidays
- The ability to stand for long periods and the ability to lift moderate weights.
