Key Responsibilities

• Develop user-centered designs for digital products, ensuring intuitive and engaging user experiences.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Conduct comprehensive user research and usability testing to gather insights and refine designs.
• Design responsive interfaces for web and mobile applications, adhering to mobile-first principles.
• Create and maintain cohesive design systems to ensure consistency across all platforms.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineering teams to translate user needs into practical solutions.
• Analyze user feedback and performance metrics to improve and iterate on designs.
• Ensure all designs meet accessibility standards and compliance requirements.
• Develop user flows and journey maps to visualize user interactions and experiences.
• Maintain meticulous design documentation to support project continuity and transparency.
• Lead design reviews and contribute to strategic design discussions.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging design technologies.

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in UI/UX design, with a focus on digital products.
• Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma and Adobe XD.
• Extensive experience with interaction design patterns and responsive design.
• Comprehensive knowledge of accessibility standards and compliance.
• Understanding of front-end development principles to facilitate seamless collaboration with developers.
• Strong visual design skills with attention to detail and aesthetics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions.
• 3-6 years of experience in a software design environment, demonstrating a track record of successful projects.
• Familiarity with the Lake Forest design and tech community is a plus.
• Willingness to participate in on-site collaboration in Lake Forest and engage with local stakeholders.
