The United States Postal Service (USPS) is seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Mail Handlers across Florida. Mail Handlers play an important role in processing, sorting, and moving mail and packages within postal facilities to ensure timely delivery to homes and businesses.
Load, unload, and move mail and packages between trucks, docks, and storage areas
Operate sorting machines and other mail processing equipment
Prepare mail for distribution and ensure accurate labeling
Stack and transport mail containers and parcels to designated areas
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Assist with mail delivery preparation as needed
Follow USPS safety and operational procedures at all times
Must be at least 18 years old (or 16 with a high school diploma)
U.S. citizen or permanent resident
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and reliability
Basic computer and reading comprehension skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Must pass a background check and drug screening
Previous warehouse, logistics, or package handling experience
Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
Flexible shifts available: morning, evening, overnight
Weekends and holidays may be required
