Job Summary

W e  are seeking an experienced Application Developer with deep expertise in Siebel CRM to join our dynamic software development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing customized Siebel applications using eScript and VBScript in IP17 or newer environments, along with a passion for delivering scalable and creative solutions to complex problems. In this role, you will contribute to mission-critical applications by designing, developing, integrating, and supporting Siebel-based systems. You'll collaborate across teams, ensure system integrity, and help drive innovation within a high-performance IT environment.

Job Description

• Review and analyze business requirements to design effective technical solutions.
• Configure, install, and administer Siebel applications across development, test, and production environments.
• Develop custom code using eScript and VBScript in Siebel IP17+ environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for connectivity, upgrades, patching, and database activities.
• Write and maintain custom Siebel workflows, scripts, and integrations.
• Conduct and document unit and integration tests; support QA and UAT processes.
• Participate in migration and deployment of Siebel objects; maintain migration documentation.
• Provide operational support and assist business teams with ad-hoc queries.

Job Skills Required

• Proven experience in developing and supporting customized Siebel applications using eScript and VBScript.
• Strong understanding of Siebel architecture including Gateway Server, Enterprise Server, Siebel Server, and Tomcat.
• Deep knowledge of Siebel performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Siebel Service Request/Activity, List of Values, Workflows, and scripting in both production and non-production environments.
• Hands-on experience with Siebel EAI Integrations (Web Services, JMS).
• Skilled in Siebel authentication methods (LDAP, SSO, ADSI).
• Ability to migrate and deploy Siebel objects between environments.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on Siebel application development experience in high-volume environments.

Additional Requirements

• Experience with EDI formats is preferred
• Working knowledge of JavaScript and PL/SQL is preferred
