Position Title: Registered Nurse - Ambulatory
Location: Syracuse, NY
Job Type: Contract | Local or Travel
Shift: Days (8*5)
Shift Time: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Duration: 13-week assignment
No weekends, holidays, or call
Weekly Pay: $2,100 to $2,400
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse - Ambulatory for an exciting Travel or Local job in Syracuse, NY .
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality nursing care in an ambulatory/outpatient oncology setting.
Perform thorough patient assessments and implement care plans.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure best outcomes.
Provide patient education and emotional support throughout treatment.
Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR.
Qualifications:
Active RN license in New York State
BLS Certification (current or able to renew)
1.5+ years of recent acute care experience
Experience with Level 1 trauma hospitals highly preferred
Familiarity with EPIC EMR
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Clean professional record (no license suspensions or investigations)
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in outpatient oncology
Strong communication & interpersonal skills
Reliable and self-directed with minimal supervision needed
