Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Professional Land Surveyor to join our actively growing team. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of surveying projects, including construction layout, land development, and boundary determinations, with a focus on precision and efficiency.
In this position, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing critical survey data to support various land use projects. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all field data, contributing to the successful completion of legal descriptions, mapping, and construction planning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct and oversee boundary, ALTA/NSPS Land Title, topographic, and utility surveys
* Determine and apply the most effective methods for establishing survey control and collecting relevant data
* Maintain detailed, organized field notes and sketches to document work performed in compliance with industry standards
* Collaborate with office personnel and other team members to ensure proper coordination and accuracy of findings
* Perform construction staking and manage job-specific quality control tasks to meet client specifications
* Process and manipulate survey data within Civil 3D to support drafting, legal analysis, and survey plat creation
* Compute preliminary and final survey coordinates for lot surveys and related calculations
* Complete field tasks efficiently, minimizing the need for additional site visits to stay within budget and timeline constraints
Qualifications:
* Professional License in ID is preferred, will assist in getting licensed if able to in a timely matter
* Proficiency in Civil 3D software and survey data collection tools
* Ability to work autonomously in the field, managing your time effectively and ensuring precision under tight deadlines
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
* Physically fit and capable of working in varied terrain and outdoor conditions
* Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities
