Rink Monitors, with assistance from the Rink Attendants, enforce rink rules during weekly public skates, as well as during special skating events. Rink Monitors are responsible for maintaining a safe and fun atmosphere on the ice. Rink Monitors are also responsible for removing any equipment and/or debris from the ice prior to ice resurfacing operations, as well as keeping skaters off the operation. Rink Monitors assist Rink Attendants in cleaning and general upkeep of the facility. Rink Monitors also assist the attendants in snow removal when required (shoveling & hand sanding).
