Material Handler

Job Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle and move materials and products within the warehouse.
• Load and unload shipments, following safety protocols to ensure no damage to products.
• Sort and organize inventory in designated areas to maximize efficiency.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and assist in stock replenishment.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Essential Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks.
• Basic mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and proper use of equipment.
• Effective communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.

Desired Experience:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred, but not required.
• Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems is advantageous
