Job Description

Overview: AngioSafe is a Bay Area medical device company focusing on improving healthcare delivery through state-of-the-art catheter development. We are committed to producing superior products to decrease risk and improve outcomes of arterial disease.

The person in this role will perform assembly of a variety of medical products, as well as support the production to keep the line running smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform assembly of medical devices as assigned. Perform all aspects of assembly learned through on-the-job training from lead, engineers, or reading procedures.
  • Understand and follow all AngioSafe and GMP procedures required to assemble product to specification.
  • Precisely complete and be accountable for Manufacturing documentation per GDP requirements.
  • Communicate with team members to problem solve and resolve issues.
  • Perform special assignments and other duties as required. Assist co-workers with problem solving.
  • Participate in team meetings.
  • Must comply with all regulatory requirements and ISO 14001 and BSC Environmental, Health and Safety standards and follow procedures and instructions related to these standards.
  • Assist R/D and Test Engineering teams as necessary.
  • Maintain great quality build for the product and 5S at all times.
  • For tasks involving assembly and inspection, good hand-eye coordination and dexterity are necessary. A significant portion of work will be with small parts under a microscope.
  • A strong safety-conscious attitude and adherence to health and safety regulations are crucial.

Skills, Experience, Education, & Behaviors

  • Good communications skills – ability to read and write English in order to complete paperwork and understand written procedures, specifications, GMPs and quality requirements
  • Medical Device (Catheters Preferred) Laser Star Welding and Lamination expertise*

Pay range for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g. qualifications, education, prior experience): $24 - $30 an hour + Equity.
