Project Overview
SAP America is seeking a skilled JVA Functional Consultant fluent in both German and English to support a large-scale SAP PRA/GPA/JVA/PSA implementation for a leading Oil & Gas client. The focus is on Upstream Finance operations, with critical involvement in the Joint Venture Accounting (JVA) and Production Sharing Agreement (PSA) areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with German- and English-speaking stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and alignment.
- Deliver end-to-end solutions for PRA (Production Revenue Accounting) , GPA (Gas Processing Accounting) , JVA , and PSA .
- Lead the design, build, and testing phases of JVA/PSA functionalities.
- Coordinate project efforts with ExxonMobil teams located in Germany , the United States , and Latin America .
- Operate within the Record-to-Report (R2R) process framework and the Polaris implementation methodology .
- Support key deployment phases , including cutover planning , go-live , and post-go-live Hypercare .
- Manage and track progress using Azure DevOps (ADO) Kanban board and ensure timely updates of user stories.
- Align deliverables with SAP product teams , ensuring accurate documentation , training materials , and knowledge transfer .
Candidate Requirements
- Mandatory fluency in German and English
- Proven experience in SAP JVA/PSA implementation in an Oil & Gas industry context
- Strong understanding of Upstream Finance processes
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and work collaboratively across regions
- Proficiency in ADO , SAP documentation standards , and project lifecycle management
