Job Description

The Fulfillment Associate’s primary function is to execute fulfillment related tasks in service to Bethel’s retail platforms. This role will be expected to fulfill web orders and ship goods to customers with excellence, and to fulfill and deliver shipments to Bethel’s physical retail locations, conferences, and special events. This role’s secondary function is to maintain a well organized and clean warehouse and to assist other Bethel Departments as required. This position works closely with the Store Operations Lead, and primarily reports to the Store Operations Lead. This position will be an important part of fulfilling the mission of Bethel Store - to fuel personal revival and disciple nations.

Position Type: Full-Time

Hours: 40 Hours Per Week

Salary: $18.00 Per Hour

Please Note: This is a full-time temporary position, with the opportunity for extension after a 90-Day review period.

Responsibilities:

• Filling orders for Shop.Bethel and Bethel Bookstore.
• Receiving and putting away inbound products from vendors.
• Occasionally fulfilling and receiving shipments for affiliated ministries.
• Preparing and delivering products and materials to other Bethel locations for conferences and events.
• Occasionally operating a box truck.
• Operating a forklift to move pallets around the warehouse.
• Keeping the warehouse clean and organized.
• Completing other tasks as assigned by the Store Operations Lead; including managing damaged incoming product, problem solving order issues with online customers, assisting in overall inventory management in pursuit of accuracy and excellent stewardship of purchased product.

Requirements

• Valid California driver’s license
• Can stand on feet for an eight hour shift if needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
• Ability or willingness to learn to operate a forklift
• Ability to drive a box truck
• High School Diploma or GED
• Computer proficiency. All our tools are web-based software

Preferred Qualities

• One or more years prior experience in fulfillment, shipping, or warehousing is highly desirable.
• Previous experience with Excel, Google Sheets, Shopify, or Shipstation is a plus.
• Attention to detail and a desire for excellence.
• Willingness to use a personal vehicle for deliveries (with mileage reimbursement).
