OK Canine Corral East in Norman, OK is looking for an experienced dog groomer. We are located on 1224 Lindsey Plaza Dr. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and engaged. We are a commission based salon.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an upbeat attitude
- Calm an anxious dog
- Create a welcoming environment for dogs and their owners
- Communicate effectively with clients to find out what they need
- Shampoo and wash a dog's hair or fur
- Cut and Shave a dog's hair or fur
Qualifications
- Must have 2+ years experience
- Ability to work with other groomers
- Grooming abilities
- Calming presence to sooth dogs
- Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time
- Ability to pass a background check
- Good communication skills
Pay
- Commision based
- Ranges from $25 - $55 / hour based on ability
