Job Title: Bud Tender for Medical Marijuana Dispensary

Job Overview: Our medical marijuana dispensary is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Bud Tender to assist patients with selecting and purchasing cannabis products. The Bud Tender will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring compliance with state and local regulations, maintaining inventory, and educating patients about the safe and effective use of cannabis products.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and provide exceptional customer service.
• Assist patients in selecting cannabis products based on their medical needs and preferences.
• Educate patients about the benefits and potential risks associated with different cannabis products.
• Ensure compliance with state and local regulations regarding the sale of medical marijuana.
• Maintain inventory levels and accurately record all sales transactions.
• Keep the dispensary clean, organized, and stocked.
• Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries.
• Handle cash transactions and operate a point-of-sale system.
• Stay up-to-date on new products, industry trends, and regulations.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Knowledge of different strains, products, and methods of consumption.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and proficiency with cash handling.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a cannabis dispensary or related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with state and local regulations governing medical marijuana.

This is a full-time/part-time position that may require evening and weekend availability. Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
