Position Description: 

Has 24/7 responsibility for the overall planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling of the security functions of the institution to ensure the safety and well-being of all patients, employees, physicians, and visitors.

Job Duties/Responsibilities Requirements:

• 5 years Security Director experience in a hospital setting required
• Knowledge of pertinent regulatory laws, National Fire Protection requirements, DCRA regulations, CMS; TJC regulations
• High School Diploma
• Associate’s Degree and or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Written and verbal communications, interpersonal skills.
• Basic organizational and computer skills.
• Current Guard Card required
• Assaultive Behavior Management certification (CPI) required within 30 days of hire
• Current CA driver license required
