We are seeking a Customer Support Specialist to provide excellent guidance to our customers in the United Kingdom (UK) and surrounding European countries analyzing concerns and promoting the best possible solution.

This is a work from home (WFH) opportunity based locally providing support to a global customer base.

This is not a call center opportunity!

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday from 2:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. central time

Position is eligible for shift differential pay.

These work hours are equivalent to 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (GMT) in the UK

There will be an initial training period of approximately 60+ days conducted during regular office hours: Monday - Friday between 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. central time following a hybrid training schedule (onsite training Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday/virtual Monday & Friday).

Responsibilities

  1. Provide exceptional customer support processing customer orders and inquiries through EDI, teams chat, phone, or e-mail.
  2. Spend 2 to 4 hours per day interacting with customers by telephone responding to inquiries about products, pricing, and product availability.
  3. Respond to shipping inquiries and order status questions.
  4. Participate on team calls via web camera and attend onsite meetings in the office as necessary.
  5. Ability to work overtime as requested.
  6. Display a desire for continued professional development.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred; three years related experience in an industrial (manufacturing, production, or distribution) work environment and/or equivalent education, training, and experience.
  • Good verbal and written communications skills in English.
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems.
  • Ability to work independently from a home office environment that is free from distraction.
  • High-speed reliable internet access.
  • Team player with collaboration skills willing to assist in other areas as needed.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Reliable attendance is necessary.
