Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a Full time Clinical Inpatient Dietitian to join our Department of Nutrition. In this role, you will deliver medical nutrition therapy in specialized areas such as critical care, GI, cardiology, renal, and diabetes management. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including dietitians, food service personnel, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and document the nutritional status of patients.
• Develop, implement, and monitor nutrition assessments and care plans.
• Provide patient education and integrate it into care plans.
• Participate in various departmental activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or a related field.
• Certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
• Prior clinical or hospital experience is preferred.
• 6-12 months of inpatient experience, with familiarity in tube feedings and TPN.
• In-depth knowledge of nutrition principles and their application in healthcare settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
