Chaplain
A hospital outside of Omaha, NE is seeking a Chaplain to join their care team.
Chaplain Pay:
Chaplain Schedule:
- 32 hours per week
- Primarily daytime hours with flexibility based on patient care and group session needs
Chaplain Responsibilities:
- Provide spiritual care to patients, families, and staff across the main hospital campus and Home Health/Hospice settings
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver holistic, patient-centered support
- Organize and assist with a comprehensive spiritual care program, with emphasis on hospice patients
- Offer counseling, prayer, and spiritual guidance to individuals of diverse faiths and backgrounds
Chaplain Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Divinity, Theology, Religious Studies, or related field
- Minimum 1 unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) required; 4 units preferred
- 2 years of chaplaincy or spiritual counseling experience
- Ordination/endorsement from a recognized denomination or faith group
- Chaplain certification preferred
