Job Description
You're busy and all the job postings sound the same, so we will keep this simple. We are hiring a few drivers. If, after reading this, you are interested and qualified, let’s talk.
• HOME EVERY DAY, EVERY WEEKEND: There is occasional weekend work, but it is almost always voluntary.
• DRIVER PAY: Our drivers are currently paid 30% of the load all in, no games, we don’t subtract fuel and other misc. stuff like a lot of companies do.
• SHIFTS AVAILABLE: 1st Shift starts as early as 3:30.
• PAID WEEKLY: Direct deposit. Our drivers are paid W-2 wages, not as subcontractors.
NOTE: Our yard is on the west-central side of Fort Wayne.
Responsibilities:
• Compile any delivery-related paperwork or reports that are required
• Assure customer satisfaction by interacting with them in a polite and professional manner
• Reasonable flexibility as we work together to service our customers and optimize revenue for all drivers on the team
• Follow DOT, FMCSA, and Local regulations as you drive our trucks and service our customers
• Attention to detail - safety, truck condition, driving, etc
Qualifications:
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
• 3 years of CDL Class A driving experience and a clean driving record
• 53' Dry Van experience
• Experience driving a manual transmission
• Meet all DOT/FMCSA requirements
HELPFUL/PREFERRED: • Mechanical skills – someone who can help problem solve, do minor repairs, and perform preventative maintenance
• Drivers who are willing to work either 1st or 2nd shift for one or a few weeks as needed
