Full and/or Part-Time We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bench Jeweler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in jewelry repair, polishing, rhodium plating, and working with precious metals. This role requires excellent craftsmanship, the ability to collaborate effectively with others, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in both aesthetics and structural integrity. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: • Perform basic and advanced jewelry repairs, including sizing, soldering, prong setting, stone tightening, and assembly. • Polish, rhodium plate, and finish jewelry using industry-standard techniques. • Work with 14k gold, 18k gold, platinum, and other precious metals with precision and care. • Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure pieces meet design specifications and structural standards. • Inspect and assess jewelry to determine necessary repairs, executing intricate and delicate workmanship as needed. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bench and workspace in accordance with company standards. • Ensure quality control standards are met for all completed work. • Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a cooperative, team-oriented work environment. Qualifications: Requirements: • Proven experience as a bench jeweler or in a similar role. • Proficient in soldering, polishing, plating, and working with fine metals. • Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination. • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. • Knowledge of gemstones, precious metals, and repair tools. • Commitment to craftsmanship and quality. • Reliable, punctual, and organized. Preferred Qualifications: • Formal training or certification in jewelry repair or metalsmithing. • Experience working with high-end or custom jewelry pieces.
