Job Description

Salary: $127,310 - 243,340 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree; OR 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
• 4 years of applicable actuarial or analytical experience and attainment of Fellow within the Society of Actuaries; OR 8 years of relevant actuarial experience and attainment of Associate within the Society of Actuaries.
• Experience executing intricate work assignments utilizing actuarial modeling software for pricing, valuation, and/or risk management.
• Proficiency in presenting complex actuarial analyses and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• ASA or FSA designation from the Society of Actuaries is required.

• Execute advanced work assignments using actuarial modeling software for pricing, valuation, and risk management.
• Review regulations to ensure compliance and provide suggestions for process improvements; monitor industry changes in laws and regulations.
• Operate models, generate reports, and present detailed analyses and recommendations to Actuarial Leadership.
• Propose adjustments and improvements to models when warranted.
• Provide guidance and support to team members on raised issues to facilitate project completion.
• Lead or contribute as a key resource on moderately complex projects through all phases with minimal supervision.
• Create exhibits and reports that effectively communicate findings and proposals to stakeholders.
• Identify business problems and suggest independent solutions, often presenting these recommendations to leadership.
• Maintain accurate pricing structure and data requirements to meet profitability and competitive objectives.
• Monitor critical assumptions and suggest timely interventions for unfavorable trends.
• Assess the impact of assumptions by analyzing sources of gains and losses, premiums, interest margins, reserves, and product viability.
